    Hey Gang check it out

    I found this sittin in a store window in Monterey
    The lady didn't know when it was made but it is MINT condition. It even came with xtra set of mirros and entena!

    I don't see a duck blind...just that big bush you are towing.

    Burt-

    That model is made by Ertl - they came out with it like within the last 3 years - I'm having one powdercoated blue to match my factory paint on my '72 - then I have to figure out how to lift it - if only I put as much effort into my big rig!

    Yes you are correct Ertl made it. I was very excited when I saw it I had to have it!
    hahahah a lift kit!! good Idea I'll try to make a cage for it too!! heheheheheh

    The 69 is the only year I've ever seen made into a model! I wish I could find a 72....

    PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU FIND ANY INFORMATION ON WHERE TO FIND A MODEL OF A FIRST GEN BLAZER. I'VE BEEN LOOKING HERE IN EUROPE FOR ONE BUT CANT FIND IT. NOBODY KNOWS IT HERE!

    These models are (or were?) made by ERTL. I think there are still model dealers on the web that sell them. (Remember the BlazerNet "Blazer Mobilia" link?) I've seen a couple of versions including a Fire Chief's truck and the U.S. Marshall. I think they're pretty cool too and always wanted one. There are two for sale on Ebay now...

    Yeah they were made by ERTL. The ones I have were part of the Wix filter cars they put out every year. It's not a emergency vehicle, just looks like a stock 69 Blazer. I think it was the 98 or 99 Wix car set. Might try looking around for one of those as well if you are searching.
