a couple of questions for a '88 k5

    a couple of questions for a \'88 k5

    first off what side would the Oxygen sensor be on and about where should it be.
    which brings up my second question, would a '88 k5 have true duals (2 cats 2 mufflers) from the factory?
    i need to take the thing in for its 1st emissions test for my ownership, last test it had was in 96.

    and finally, where is the oil pressure sending unit located?
    i had never had to change one before, but since the oil gauge is reading ohh 120 psi im sure its not working.\

    The oxy sensor is on the drivers exaust manifold, on the down pipe pointing back.
    No, It would NOT have duals from the factory, But if it has dual cats, Most states will let it go for inspection.

    The oil pressure sensor is in the back of the engine, behind/under distributer. You can replce the sensor, but don't be surprised if the gauge is bad.

    The sending unit for the guage is actually near the oil filter. The one by the distributor is for the computer and the oil pressure switch for the fuel pump.

    i have tried several gauges now and they all read funky.
    so is the thing i need to change near the distributor or the oil filter?

    if the o2 sensor is supposed to be on the drivers side, it isnt there anymore.
