First off I know this is "redneck" but for some reason my old eastswing framing hammer has done alot of work on trucks for me(im not sure of the weight but its pretty good sized)

Tonight I had to pull the seal out of my 14bolt FF hub I couldent find the seal puller so I went back to my trusty eastswing put the claw end in the seal taped the handle(all metal) with the side of a mini sledge and the seal came out MUCH easer then the seal puller ever did it heck it ws the first time I dident have to rip the seal apart(the old seals not worth a penny though) anyways just though I would let you know on a trick me and CONFEDNECK picked up today /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I've done that too...works well (but trashes the seal when doing it with wreckless abandon like I did). /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
