I was talking to a phone to one of the guys I wheeled with in Wisconsin. He was giving me a little friendly chit for running a fullsize. We ribbed each other for a little bit then the conversation went something like:

Rod: "Naw man, it was cool. You did your job that day."

    Me: "My job...?"

Rod: "Yeah man. You run a fullsize, your job is to put on a show. Did you ever notice that the entire day whenever you'd tackle an obstacle none of us wanted to we all stopped, abandoned our rigs, and got out the cameras?"

    Me: "I guess man...."

Rod: "By the end of the day none of us wanted to drive anymore we just wanted to see you try and break parts. We've got more pictures of you than any of the other rigs because if you hit it twice and didn't make it, instead of spooling out you hit it hammer down. I even have a picture of the ground because of you."

    Me: "Huh?"

Rod: "Donkeypunch man. You couldn't make the first log so you got a running start. I was standing on the other side of the tree that you hooked your rear tire on and swung around. I was ready to take a pic when your rig started to pivot and come after me. YOU DON'T REMEMBER ALMOST HITTING ME?"

    :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha:

Haha, he's in Cali. not Canada. Some of the driveways out west and up north are in worse shape than the green trails at our off road parks. :D
