My nephew did that up until he was about 8. How he could do that on hard wood floors was beyond me, and yes it was about 50% of the time...............

Just a though. Have a very good family friend whose daughter began walking on her toes at about age 18 months but she mostly favored walking on her tip toes on one leg. this went on for sometime and then finally took the kid to a Dr. and he said that one of her legs was actually shorter than the other which caused her to compensated and tip toe. Best of luck.

You can buy the shoes with squeekers in the heel. It teaches them to walk flat footed. I guess they like to hear the noise. It can get annoying though.

Or just build an electrical contact into the toe of the shoe and everytime he toe walks he'll get zapped, that should fix him....:haha:

If you're talking about kids walking on the balls of their feet, my son does that 50% of the time. I think its a normal kid trait to do that.

Even when you run, you are running on the balls of your feet. Those who run with their whole feet are considered flatfooted.

I knew a girl back in high school that ALWAYS walked on her balls of feet. Even when she stood still, she had air under her heels of her shoes.
