With my head down low I am guilty........ I have a shop that sells all that crap for asian imports. I laugh my A$$ off every time these guys and gals fork over 200.00 for those clear tail lights...lol. You name it they put it in thier cars, blue, green purple red lights all over the thing. Neon, strobe lights, This one guy has a FOG MACHINE hooked up to his door switch so when the door opens a puff of smoke comes out!!! WTF...
They buy "TYPE R" stickers, I swear they think thier cars goes faster with them on. But all in all they have money to spend so keep it coming. Like I said before Hondas are great cars......to use for jack stands.

If you cant go over it...GO THROUGH IT !!! http://www.CaliforniaK5Krawlers.com

A guy I saw at work the other day caused me to snicker up my sleeve: he had some kind of stock Mitzy coupe, but if the overdressed spoiler with checkered flag graphics was not enough, what got me was the "heartbeat of America" stick-on aluminum beltline rocker panels (w/o any chevy bowtie!). He also had "Powered by Mitsubishi" proudly emblazoned across his rear window. I would've been surprized if he actually had a built L6 250 or something.
I'd rather bolt on the goodies and toss the decals away, all the better to fool the speed cops.

HAHAHA
Thanks Steve. That site gave me a damn good laugh.
I'm gonna send it to everyone i know.

Reminds me of last month when I blew away some Toyota rice rocket on the expressway. I just loved the 5" chrome moo muffler tip. HE had the "Powered by Toyota" stickers and "BNK engines" or some [censored]. As if he spent some money getting a race engine built.
We looked at each other, first at the light and I laughed and pointed at his dual wing spoiler.
When it turned green I let him get ahead of me by a car length and then I mashed the gas and blew by him. When I hit about 65 I let off, and I could barely see him in my rearview mirrior.
HE must have felt great.
Gettin your doors blown off by a huge, heavy, '72 K/5 twice your weight and size.
It made my day though.

Ryan,

Your statement about "getting your doors blown off by a 72 K5 that weighs twice as much as a little jap car" really hits home.

The guy I bought my wifes' 72 from used to be a mud dragger. He told me he adjusted the "vacuum valve" or something similar on the TH350 so that it holds longer before it shifts, and then shifts harder. I've got a beautiful built up HiPo 350 in the blazer now, and even with 35"s on it, it's a stop light rocket! BTW, when it shifts, it rocks the whole truck! ROOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRR Wham!!

Harry
quite happy, actually

I have one to add myself (no pix, or I'd send them to Ricecop!): It was a 4-door Honda Civic of late '80s vintage. It had the typical coffee-can exhaust tip on it and was lowered. That's kind of OK I guess, but the stickers that were all over the thing were a bit much. One sticker in particular made me ROFL: Right under the "CIVIC" call-out in the middle of the back of the car was a decal that proudly exclaimed: "4x4" HUH??? On a LOWERED Honda? I don't think so! LOL!!!!!
