I feel for these families. Most are kids aged 20-25..with little under their belt after highschool.
The sight is http://icasualties.org/oif/ , everyone needs to take a good hard look at the people
who are fighting for us and support them. Every state, race and religion has sacrificed for our
rights and safety here in this great country.

Re: A post for the Hero\'s

I am overwhelmed with emotion...as I read the names of the fallen soldiers.

May God provide comfort, healing and peace to the ones who loved these brave men, and mourn their loss.

The holiday season will be extremely hard for many families this year, who have lost a loved one, and those who have a loved one still in harms way.

    Thankyou for posting.

Damn, all I can think of is the families back home who will never see their loved ones again. Thank God there are brave men and women who are handling this so the rest of us can carry on with our lives. /forums/images/graemlins/bow.gif

One question- what does "IED" stand for?

Re: A post for the Hero\'s

I think we're in a real bind right now and no other countries are offering to help...some brits, but for the most part we're paying the price for others/ours future continued freedom. Kinda sucks, but we DO live better lives than any other country and now WHY WE NEED TO PROTECT IT. I think that is part of the problem. Other countries have NO idea what true freedom is. Sure we have laws and taxes, etc, but we are free. Free to praise, free to criticize, hell even free to be anti-free!

Other countries need to step up...makes me kinda angry. I think the true Iraq citizens are starting to fight for there countries. They fought in Fallujah along side our guys and are paying terrible number of lives trying to police their cities. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I think I get upset when people talk about not letting anymore "migrants" in from other countries etc, because, maybe not first generation, at some point they will fight for this country in there kids, grandkids etc. Take a look at the list....its mixed with diversity...and thats what makes this country so different from ANY country in the world.
