If I wanted to buy a vehicle in Colorado (I'm in Missouri) and have it shipped here (without me having to go to Colorado) how would I go about paying the seller? Any ideas?

Hire a hotshot driver to go pick it up and deliver to you.

I have used a driver like this 3 times. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Certified cashiers check. See if the transport company does anything like that. Otherwise, I know someone who may be willing to transport for you, send me a pm and I'll hook you up with his number, you can work the details out with him.

Paypal charges a certain percentage, a lot more than the cost of a cashiers check.

You need to go back and reread their site. I have payed for things using paypal and have never been charged a fee. They tell you how to do it so you don't have to have a fee. If you aren't careful then you will have a fee to do the transaction

Yes, I got the PM. I'm not sure if I'll use him. I don't even know if I'll buy the truck. I was just looking for ideas. Thanks.

Storm, when your drive'n down the highway and you see a duelly pulling a long trailer with 2-4 cars on it...that is called a "Hotshot". Getting a vehicle transported from one state to another is actually simply. Look up "hotshot service" on the net. If the vehicle is stock height try "Waggoneer's" and "K&J's trucking". Also look in your phone book under "Auto transporters". As far as paying for the vehicle if you need to pay the other party right away then I would use a cashiers check. If you they just wanna see some sort of payment and it's going to be a week or more for the vehicle to be p/u then I would send a personnel check just something for your records. Another thing you might suggest to the other party is a direct wire from your bank to theirs. Hope this helps some.
