heres a shot of my front bumper I'm making.

2" x 8" x 0.25" wall, it's 36" wide. My springs will be mounted just under it to tuck the bumper in as close as I could.

ends tapered and plated with 3/16 strapping.
it will have a 2" whole in it for my winch mount, and a pair of Tazz's beefy clevis mounts.

before I get more replies I will say it will be mounted to the front of the frame rails not up top like the pic,LOL

easier to work on it that way,LOL

I'll get another pic with the ends cut and the brackets on..all 1/4" thick.

    And Fumes... I paid $62 for the metal. 1/4 wall ain't cheap....... or light /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
