For all those that have been asking about A-Tron latley. Due to a terrible aerospace industry we have been forced to close our doors. But on a good note my father and I have opened a new business, Az-Kickin' Offroad Supply. Below you will find the new web site address. The site is not 100% operational, so you can not ourchase anything as of yet. If you have any question shoot me a PM.

Sorry to hear that! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif But it isn't just manufacturing jobs that are going offshore these days. Lots of computer software and support jobs are also leaving the US. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif I don't know what Americans are gonna do for a living when all the jobs have moved to China or India. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Anyway, while you're deciding on what new parts to design... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif If it's possible, I'd love to see a slim gearbox that could slip between the tranny and transfer case, that contains just the planetary set from an NP241. 1:1 in normal driving, then a 2.7x low range for off road. Coupled with the low range in whatever transfer case was behind it (a 205!), it would make an awesome ultra-low geared doubler, without all the weight of a 203 range box. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

You have so much name recognition with A-tron, did you have to change the name to move on to other things? Glad to hear your stickin with the off road gear! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

No kidding aerospace, is in the toliet. The latest Shuttle crash didn't help, either. Good luck w/ the 4x4 only line. Just curious, why change the name?

Good luck on the future endevors!
Site looks great. With your machining capabilities you have a lot of advantage. Fill some of those gaps of "stuff folks want that nobody makes".
