Yesterday, the surpentine belt shreaded on my 91,Chev,Suburban,2500, 454, w/rear air.
The belt as it shreaded a piece wrapped around the AC clutch and broke off the electricial connection on the clutch itself. I no longer have the plugable socket on the clutch. Can the clutch be replaced or repaired, without replacing the entire AC compressor/clutch combination. It's still R12 and the AC compressor was working great till the belt broke and damaged the connector plugin.
