Actual height of SSR\'s and TSL Radials

If you have the SSR's in either a 35" or 37" size or a TSL Radial in a 36" size and could measure post their actual height I would appreciate it. I am interested to see the differences in these tire sizes. Please, let me know your tire width and rim size, too.

    35x14.50R15 SSR's on 15x10 Welds measure about 35 1/4" tall.

TSL's and SSR's usually run true to the stated dimensions on the tire with the recommended wheel width. I know Interco recommends a 10" wide wheel for anything 12.5 or wider. I run 38x12.50x15's on a 8" wide wheel, and they are are almost 39" tall. A friend of mine runs the same tire but on a 10" wide wheel, and his are right at 38" tall. They do a good job of factoring recommended wheel width in the tire design. Most other places don't, and their tire dimensions reflect an unmounted tire. I think BFG is one of the others that run pretty close to stated tire size after it's been mounted on a wheel??

    Lance,

As someone already stated, the height will depend on the rim width selected....Interco has all the specs and rim width recommendations on their website:

Thanks for the link, I didn't even think of checking their web-site for that info. Still would like to see people's "real world" results, you know, just to get a comparison.

I have the 37x12.5R16 SSRs mounted on 16X10 M/T Classic II rims & they stand 36.5" tall NOT mounted on the Blazer. Haven't measured them on the Blazer yet.

    Hope this helps

Not that you asked, My 35" BFGs are mounted on 15x10s and sit at 33.5" (they are about 6 years old though)

That is the exact reason why I asked the question about the Swampers. I have 33" BFG's right now with about 2,000 miles on them and they are just under 32" tall. Wanted to see if the Swampers are sized nominally or sized actually.

37x12.50R16LT SSRs on 16x10s stand 36" tall, mounted on the truck. At least Mine Do.

Ya dude, the reason why I checked, my buddy just bought a Bronko with new Goodyear MTRs 35" on like 8" rims and they're like 35 and some! So I went to the local tire store and looked at some "new" BFG MTs the MT KMs er somethin' and they (35s) measured like 34.5" on 10" rims. I think the tire companys are catching on!

My 35x14.5x15 SSR's mounted on 15x10's were about 33 1/2" tall at 32 PSI and my 36x12.5 Swamper Radials mounted on the same 15x10's are just shy of 36" at 25 PSI.

My well worn 15X35-16.5 bias ply TSLs measure 33". They are on 9.75" wide weld wheels @ 25psi on the vehicle. And they still tag the front fenders!
