Had to go on my first test run yesterday and I came upon this hill. I was at the bottom looking up and was thinking, "Hmm, I wonder if I could make it, and if I would have to come back down the same way I went up." Well I went for it. From top to bottom I would guess it's around a half mile long. With switchbacks, huge rocks and waterbars. Had to be on the gas the whole time. If I had let off, I'd have been screwed. About 2/3 of the way up it just got to damn steep. The Quadra Jet couldn't handle it. Luckily I was at a spot where I could turn around. WoooFRICKINHoooo....And what a ride that was. I musta sounded like a damn train coming down that hill with the e-brake and normal brakes chattering, the brake light in the intrument panel even came on....The caption on the picture says it all. I needed about a 10 minute cool down period at the bottom.
