Okay how bad would it be to have 2 add-a-leafs in my rear springs? The reason that I want to do this is to level my rig. Right now the front is higher than the rear, and I have the add-a-leafs just taking up space in my garage. Let me know what you think, thanks. /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

It will get stiffer with less flex. I did a 2" add a leaf in my wifes blazer. all she did was complain it was to stiff.

Maybe I'll do some kind of shackle flip, just enought to make it level.

how about a set of zero rates. Pretty easy to install and relatively cheap.

I think the lowest shackle flip is 2 1/2". Will give you a little more flex too! Is the truck all stock? or is there a lift in it now?

No it is not stock. I have a add-a-leaf in the front and rear and run 35" tires. The problem that I'm trying to fix is to bring my rear level with my front. I am happy with how tall my front is but not the rear.

How much do you need to level? if you only need an inch, i'de go zero rate. If you want more, go shackle flip. If you do any off roading, you will want to avoid blocks.

If you have an add a leaf in the back now, I don't think you can stack another and gain much. just stiffer.

What part of CA are you in?? The spring is here and summer is close take off the top and that will bring up the rear a little. Seriously though, I would try a zero rate cause it will be the easiest.

I live in the Mojave Desert in a small town called Ridgecrest. In fact I just put my top back on, did not change my ride height at all.
