Adjusting detent cable on a TH350

    I replaced the cable on my 79 and can't remember how to adjust the darn thing. Anyone remember?

    Release the cable, pull it all the way back, (to make it the shortest), the press the gas pedal slowly to the floor. That should auto adjust it.

    SOME need to have the button pushed litely while pressing the pedal to allow the cable housing to move in the lock. I havent seen one but have been told it.
