I'll have Mitch take one tomorrow while I have them in. My time for wearing them today is almost up.

For some reason I really like wearing glasses. Had contacts for a while because it made sports easier. The only thing I hate about is that I can't get the nice pair of Oakley Juliets that I want! Maybe someday I will try the contacts again, but they are just too much of a hassle for me. Besides, I work in really dusty conditions all day so that may not be the best idea...

    I've ben wearing contacts since I was 12. Geez, that's 23 years.........:doah:

Anyhow, the only time they piss me off is when I go swimming and I get water in my eyes, or when, back in the day, one or both would pop out in the middle of a scrap. Otherwise, I barely even realize they're in, and I wear them 18 hours+/- a day.

When I lost a contact, I had a tendancy to get angry, which generally spurred me on a little bit and may have affected the outcome in my favor. Of course, there was that one time........:rotfl:

Long story short? There's always someone tougher.:deal: :doah:

If I wear contacts at work, I have to make sure everyone I work with knows I'm wearing them. That way if I get electrocuted, the medics know I have contacts fused to my eyeballs! :D

They probably are, but I don't care. I have a somewhat small face and they fit really nicely. More of a pipe deam, however. I can't afford them anyway...

I have a set of juliets. I love them, they were the only set of sunglasses I paid more than $5.00 for. I need to get a new set of lenses though. I had them on top of my head on Saturday and hit them on a cut fender.

Back on track... Contacts cost less than a good set of glasses. If you don't wear them all the time, a 3 months supply can last a year. I like the disposables. Be careful welding with contacts, you don't want to fuse the contacts to your eye.

I pay 180. that covers my doc visit, and 6 month supply that I make last a year. Last time I went I got a new pair of glasses also, I think they ran about 140.
