Got home today to find out my roommate moved out.

    A month early.

Ditching me with bills from last month.

Also, she took the clothes dryer, but not the washer... :dunno:

Prolly couldnt lift it out. On the bright side you can walk around with your junk ladder free and easy.

It also just hit me how much I just miss living with a friend. I guess I've been missing that the last five months. :(

I lived with 6 friends in a 1200 sqft house. Never had any problems. Always had lots of fun. Nothing beats showering with a roomates girlfriend.

if you have documentation (leases, rental agreements etc) proving your case, take her to small claims. You'll win. In most places, you can't just abandon your roomie without any warning. You have to give some kind of notice. Who bought the washer/dryer? May be able to score that back also...

We went halves on appliances, and she took half the appliances (aside from the mixer she wanted for Christmas :dunno: she left that). Small claims over $110? I'll call her on it, but court wouldn't be worth my time. She gave me notice, and it was longer than two weeks between notice and when she left, I just expected another month.
