so im just criusin along today in the blazer and lo and behold, there is my next vehicle, for sale not 5 miles from my house.

1978 pontiac trans am, 400, 4 speed (not original i think) t tops, shaker hood, everything. nice condition, but rough around the edges, just like i want, purple-ish kinda paint job, nice rims and tires, 5500 or best offer.

I wish i had the money for this, id be all over that bad boy. Why are all the nice kids like me poor, but the shmucks who are dickheads all have enough money to buy multiple vehicles and spend mad cash decking their sh*t out? I really hate having poor-college-kids disease! Oh the humanity!!![IMG]

Yeah I know how you feel Matt. I sold a lot of my toys off to go back to school so I could get out of mechanics and make some real money and it seems like a lot of the kids I go to school with (most are about 5 yrs younger then me) have everything handed to them... newer car... no job... rents pay for school... even give them beer money... sheesh. Stick with school and soon you'll be out and that is when the cash will kick in. Then you can get even bigger and better toys [IMG]

It's because the poor kids learn to appreciate stuff and know hard work and know how to respect others. You usually don't get that when you grow up having money.
I know how you feel. I've lived on beanie weenies for a month before. It sucks. But think of it as paying your dues. It'll turn around

so for sh*ts and giggles i stopped the other day, the 400 has less than 2500 miles on the rebuild, the 4speed is actually a th400 with B&M shifter and full shift kit, wheels and tires are new, it was way sweet. im kicking myself for not driving it, cause the next day it was gone. 5500 OBO was one hell of a deal for that bad boy.

I hear you guys, im plodding my way thru shool on hopes for a big paycheck at the end, but like everything, its hard to watch these cars go right by my nose...[IMG]
