Need help with some kind of silicone or heat resistant tape to help keep the stock air cleaner and spacer together. the spacer is a piece of plastic, bout 3/4" tall it sits where the cleaner rests and has a ridge for the cleaner to ride on at the top. My only concern that the weight of the air cleaner will cause it to come off this small ridge that the spacer has. Anyone know of any tape I could use to keep the two from moving? It has to be heat resistant cause it does get hot down there. thanks

You may want to consider making some small brackets out of sheet metal and screw or pop rivit them to either the bottom of the air cleaner or on to the spacer. Just a thought.
