Just got back from Alice In Chains. It kicked ass. (no suprise there) Definitely one of the best concerts I've been to in a long, long time. William Duvall is an awesome singer and guitar player and sounded so much like Lane Staley it was a bit scary. JC was the man of course. What a great guitarist.

I was concerned about how that was going to pan out. I miss Layne.

you do realize that lane and jerry cantrel sang for alice in chains right? i never knew it till a few years ago and i was blown away at how much they sounded alike

i also saw alice in chains in concert over the summer, the band put on a kick ass proformance but i really dislike the singer when he sang it sounded like a coverband so im not into his vocals much at all

They did three sets. The first one was all out electric, hard rocking, etc, then they switched it up to do some acoustic songs. They then finished up with an electric set. When they were changing sets, they were showing old photos of the band and Lane. Anyway, I guess William Duvall was a friend of theirs from a few years ago, becuase they showed him in some of the pictures with Lane and Jerry. There were even pictures of him singing with Lane.

I thought Jerry Cantrell is still part of AIC. Ya know, he is an Oklahoma boy.
