On an 82 K20 w/6" lift that I test-drove, I had to hold the steering wheel to the right to get the truck to go straight down the road. How can I tell if this is an alignment-only issue?

Check air pressures first, If it's been sitting for awhile, one or more of the tires could have a small leak, and could cause a pull.

Cross rotate the front tires (left to right, right to left) and redrive. Does it pull to the other side now? If not, and it still pulls to the left then it should be the alighnment.

    Considering a purchase?
Expect it to need ball-joints, and when ball-joints are replaced it should be alighned after.

Check it for possible frame damage. Eye-ball the cross members and see if they are streight and square. Check the bumpers and their relation to the body.
