It is about that time again. Is anyone here planning on attending? It is May 4-6.

Pigeon Forge, isn't that the Great Smoky Mountains National Parking Lot? [IMG] Traffic there is unbelievable in the summer! [IMG]

Traffic is unbelievable but it's still my #1 pick of vacation spots. One of the many things my wife disagrees with me about. She'd rather go to the beach.

Went to Gatlinburg many times as a kid. Long before it became totally overrun with people though. Pigeon Forge was just a wide spot in the road back then. [IMG] It is indeed a beautiful place!

we went up there last year for memorial day and it was pretty fun... check out the chalet rentals we had two couples and got a 3 bedroom 2 bath and it ended up being cheaper than a hotel room and had a great view on the top of a mountain... pigeon ford is only about 8 miles from gatlinburg... They have a great hot rod show in sept or oct... We stayed there one year for the ga/tn game since we didnt want to stay in obknoxville... Anyway the guys with the hot rods would cruise from gatlinburg to pigeon forge... Wife and I sat outside and watched them for hours... Had to go inside when the wife started talking about buying one... Dont need anything to compete with the blazer dollars...
