I purchased an allen engine analyzer on ebay, from a person i know from highschool(years back), whose father owns a repair shop a few blocks away from me. So i just have to roll it home.

The only problem with it, is the seagate harddrive in it went dead. i havn't played with the machine yet. And i think new harddrive with software costs 600 bucks from the factory, so i have been told.

i was wondering if anyone has worked or owned one of these machines. And are the harddrives IBM compatible, is it possible to copy a harddrive from one machine and put it on a floppy? And i can just copy that software to a new harddrive?

The machine is dated to work on cars up to 91. And i dont have a need for obII software anyhow. Also, i doubt the machine will handle any new stuff.
