Is there a difference between the shifters on the 208 and 205? I might do this swap in the future, just wondering.

if you're going dual, 2.25 should do you nicely. I've read that it is comparable to a single 3". As for mufflers, the venerable Flowmaster seems to be a popular pick and although I run one on my 96 c1500, I couldn't bring myself to scratch up the cash for two under the blazer. I went with some dynomax super turbos. they were cheap and sound great.
