Mine could be ready for some wheeling with little to no work. Only issues I'm dealing with right now are state inspection (damn caddi e-brakes) and a rear hub leak; which I just received the replacement hub to fix ....

All I need to do is get a new state inspection( e-brake hook up and exhaust are holding me up), regear the front, get new rear driveshaft and extend the front, and win the lottery. Then I'll be ready.......

Ours is FMC, but I dont want to scratch the pretty paint /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

But my Dad and I have plans on:
-fabbing up another set of side panels to house two subs and and several speakers and still be weather proof
    -38" SSR's or 40" MTR's
-More engine mods; Totally stand alone fuel injection system with a new computer, Modified Vortec or Aluminum Heads, bigger cam with roller tip rockers. Est 420HP & 500TQ

But then again there is the whole issue of getting the money to afford all this while being a fulltime student and swimming, so I could be farting in the wind on some of these /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Getting off my ass today to put in the busted motor mount, header gaskets and peeled diff cover repair. Other than that mine can wheel anytime. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

So is the move to San Marcos final? Is there anything that still lays in the works? I might have to hop in the Jimmy and take a roadtrip down there to see the shop.

I am proud to say that I haven't had to work on mine for eons now! Since I did the axle swap, no issues. Course, nowhere to wheel and no time anyhow, so it just sits there looking all mean.

Swapping carbs this weekend (got 1,000 miles on it, time to be replaced!), but that's about it.

My last outing consisted of cracking my transmission housing, As soon as I return from my 7 week business trip I'll think about swapping all the parts to a new case and be on the road! ... so as soon as I get back (Aug 30th).... i'll have her running in less than a week!
