Don't lie, we know you mouthed off to your woman and got beat down.:D

Just kidding, that's a pretty damn close call there brother. I will take your example and move my goggles to a more accesible and likely to get used location.

Yeah, you can never be too careful with a grinder. I put a nasty gash in my hand one time because the casters fell off the seat I was on while grinding. I threw one hand back to keep myself from falling on my back and just barely touched the grinding disc... Those things go through flesh a lot faster than steel...

yea about a week ago I got 2 slivers of metal in my eye after doing some grinding and they had to be cut out since they started rusting, but the bad part was I was wearing safety glasses and it flew up under them and in my eye, so from then on I have been wearing my big safety sheild that covers my whole head :)

Ya no kiddin they are very effictive at removing flesh, I was using my 4in with a wire wheel and the wheel caught the edge and spun off, took a big chunk out of my hand where the inside of the thumb joint is, just a split second, and now i got a wicked scar, diddent hurt much though........

Man, did you luck out, brother!!!!

I'm so used to wearing my safety glasses that they double as sunglasses. Looks like I need to send you a PM. Chevyfumes got the same deal last year!!!!

How do you like 'em, fumes?

Your lucky dude. A buddy of mine was grinding with his 4.5" angle grinder and the disc came about. He is completely blind now.

Always wear at least eye and ear protection! You will regret it if you don't.
