I am looking into buying a gasket set from felpro #ks-2656 it says it is a 87'-95' (305) complete gasket set. Why wouldnt it be for the 350 also. I believe there is a differant kit for the 350? What could be differant? They are the same motor just differant bore and stroke right? I can get a really good deal on the kit if it will fit my 350. Thanks

The different bore means just that. The piston diameter is different, thus the head gaskets are different. The part of the gasket that seals around the combustion chamber is sized to the bore. [IMG]

What am I retarded... I knew that.... lol duhhhhhh I am going home and going back to bed.. Then again, since I am getting a good deal on a set maybe it would still be worth getting because the only gasket that wouldnt fit would be the head gaskets right? no biggie... I just wanna have this set on hand for spares anyways. Thanks

But the head gaskets are the most expensive gaskets in the set. The other ones are cheap in comparison. But if you're getting the set for nearly free, then go for it!
