Seriously, I have a total of 4 amps, so I had to get creative. I ended up putting one on each bedside, forward of the wheelwells, and the other two went underneath the seats, but NOT on the floor. I acutally suspended them under the seat frame to keep them from getting ruined if I ever "took on water".

Heat was never an issue, I created a perforated trim panel and carpeted over it, so that heat could escape but the overall look was that of a solid panel. Keeps the equipment out of sight too....which makes it more likely that it will still be there next time you go to drive your K5!

I have my CD changer under the pass seat, then 2 amps and a crossover under the back seat with a 1/8" thick alum plate covering the front and back openings so nothing will be pushed into them.... /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
