I think a forum dedicated to engines would be cool. Maybe it's just me but I think a forum for just engines would be helpful. Give an organized place to discuss and find info and all on engines. Like help with the latest buildup etc etc what do y'all think?

There are so many categories already that I just use the 'New Posts'
    feature :(

But I suppose having the ability to sort for specific projects would be cool.

Exactly. An engine forum would be pretty silly.

Everyone just posts in the garage anyways. There's been all of 3 posts in the 73-91 forum today.

How much trouble is it to do test trials on new forums and put up notices about others not getting used to close? It is worth a try. A place to ask question just about motors could be good. Better yet could we get the garage split into a few sub-forums maybe?

The year specific forums are so slow it wouldn't be worth it, I think. I don't go to the garage at all, it's too fast anbd stupid.

There are quite a few forums already. I think if rearranged a little bit it could work well...but not in the current configuration. (Hey Joe, any good places to wheel in SD? I'll probably be in Brookings for the next four years come fall.)

Around my place, you can wheel everywhere

i think people that say "there are too many forums already" don't know what they are talking about IMHO. I feel that orginization is a good strat to a lot less repetative questions and also people learning more. I have tried to search for things before only to get info all around on what I am specifically looking for strewn about the whole message board. :dunno: with that being said it would actually make people more able to find the info they need. maybe on their own before they ask a question that's been asked before. Just my 2 cents worth. Not that it counts for anything. Or I really care. Being a civilian again next week is about the only thing that is important. :waytogo: so flame away at my totally lame suggestion. Go on, I know you want to. :D

You're suggestion sucks, your truck is too big and shiny, your mug looks like the south end of a northbound wildebeast, and your momma dresses you funny. :D

    How's that, too personal? ;)

Like Shaggy says, the '73-'91 forum hardly gets a look in as it is. I'm as guilty as the rest and both my trucks fall into that catagory.
