Damn. Second place is still cool though. The green one you're talking about...is that the one with the rear body cut off at an angle?

No thats a Kseries truck. He's got the OLD OLD OLD OLD OLD Suburban. The back is cut off, but not at an angle. Glad to hear our man from ORD took second and I'm also glad two full sizes got top honors. Show those Heep Pansies whats up.

I believe it was a '67-72 3 door, bobbed, but not positive.

Did they make a 4-door sub in '72? I can't remember what year they went to the 4-door body style. I thought the '72 still had 1 door on one side and 2 on the other side.

He had all that on a 72 K5, but he wrecked it training for the TTC so used the suburban frame and body instead. (i think)

That was BigBlaze's truck. He is on the Pirate4x4 board. His truck is a monster. 44 boggers, biult 1 ton drivetrain, chopped back end. And the scary part is that he did this all to a vehicle that in stock form would cost more than the cost of my truck's biuldup. Last year he tried to get into the competition with a similarly biult blazer. Hey Gokartergo would you happen to know how the others placed?

No I don't there were still some officials from four wheeler around so I couldn't ask that many quistions. I am going back out there tonight to see if I can find out more. The stories about the ford blowing the r&p are true. And the J**p being DQ on the mini rubican are true. Stephens Jimmy went threw the mini rubicon great. He had no problems there. He said a wire broke on his ARB.. I think he said he had to get winched out of the mud pit. I might be wrong on that. He did lose high gear on the accelertion test. So what I heard was right........Dan
