Today I got a soggy package from a CK5 member. It smelled like whiskey really bad. I wonder what the mail lady thought.

Anywhos, aparently Jack Daniels caps aren't the best seal for jostling about, but I only lost an ounce or so.

Thanks, the crap I owe you is on it's way, covered in cat poop, cause I lied about cleaning it, enjoy

Oh and thanks for the shot glass

I've been dying for some Green Label something fierce. I've been drinking too much Black Label lately, I've only been buying it in 1L bottles. It's an expensive habit. I've been recently drinking Jim Beam Black for a little more kick.

I wish someone would send me Mr Daniel's finest.

what's the deal with yankees (no offense intended) and green label jack?

i had a co-worker from Rochester, that was based out of an office up there. everytime he'd come down or i'd go up, a case of green label made it's way back to him.

y'all know the green label is the whiskey equivalent of natural light, don't ya? yeah, it may be made by the same folks, but it's from the bottom of the barrel.

Beats me, beer makes me vomit. I can stand about a neck's worth of Rolling Rock or Corona. Canned beer tastes like [darn].

Green label is a little more smooth and has a bit of a cleaner taste to it. I like 1 bottle of Green to 2 bottles of Black. Plus, nobody knows what Green label is. Green label seems to taste better than Black when it gets warm as well. I keep my liquor in the freezer. So, if you're going to be wandering around with your liquor it's best it be Green.

Jim Beam Black seems to have more of a bite than any kind of Jack. I don't like the smell as much.

well i don't know because i have never had green lable but i think i would like it , i just finished a 3L bottle of crown royal ( no not all at once) ant the last two glasses tasted awsome. Like the oaky flavars and what ever were settleing on the bottom. and it was way better!! so if thats the way green lable is.. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

it's just interesting to me to see y'all get so excited over green label when most people down here won't give it a second look. different strokes for different folks, i guess. again, no offense intended just wondering if i was missing something.

as for jim beam, it's a bit sweeter to me than jd. i like it with a regional "coke" we have down here called sun-drop (similar to mountain dew). we call 'em sun-beams.
