    Another 52\" front springs thread

Alright I'm looking for people running 52s to help me out here. I've seen Zcar's setup but he has a D44 up front. I'm worrying the unsprung weight of my D60 and 40s will wear out the springs. Then again they do fine in the back end and don't wear out. Opinions?

Weight doesn't wear out springs anywhere near as fast as flexing them into negative arch. I think that as long as you control suspension travel you should be fine.

I put the 52's on mine when I went to 57's. one of my springs is already shot because it sat there for 7 years with one tire aired up. But anyway I am not to concerned. if wosre comes to worse for 20 dollars a pair I could afford to change them every year.

yeah Some good bumpstops are in order. I like this idea a lot mainly because, now I can take my 4" BDS springs and put them on the burb /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
