    My 89 has a weight/load sensing prop valve for the rear brakes. As you can see from my sig I have a gov-loc 14bsf, I'd like to swap in a 14BFF. What will I have to do with the brakes in the rear w/ the funky prop valve? (there's a couple for sell in a local rag I'm thinking of pursuing)

    I would just bypass the damn thing, if you desire, i'm sure you can fab a bracket to allow it to work

    better off

    my line broke between the valve and the t on the axle.
    i took the odd size fitting valve out of the picture.
    best thing i did i can lock up the 33x12.5x16.5 's now.
    before it would take two feet on the pedal and alot more distance
    to stop!!!maby the valve was bad? i had moved the bracket to match
    oem angle after the blocks were added did'nt help.
    let us know.

    when i put the 14bff under my 89 3/4 suburban, i just unhooked it and set it where i wanted it... drive around for a while and see how you like it, adjust it and see if its any better then leave it alone! thats what i did.

    Thanks. Looks like it'll be straight forward.
