Nominally, the 73-75 hardtops were optional too ... but 90+% of them on dealer floors were loaded, AC, auto, Cheyenne interior, etc etc.

The passenger SEAT was an option, as was the rear seat... but as above, they mostly came loaded.

I should sell my Jimmy for 30,000 and say that the rust in the back was a rare feature from the dealership in 1984. Maybe I'll be rich /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif

I could easily see that truck being appraised and selling for $15-20K if he truly did a good job when investing the $35K he claims. Looks like a good rig. I have a friend who invested $25K into a restoration/modification of a 1966 GMC 3/4 ton (shortened the frame and put a short bed on it too). He had it appraised at $14 or $15K and actually sold it for the appraisal value thru a run till it sells truck trader ad. But it took him over a year to find the right buyer and even had a guy walk away from a $1500 deposit in the process.

That is the idea. [IMG] A good restoration should look like that. The idea isn't to look like an aftermarket afterbirth. Man, how qucik we are to judge form a PICTURE. It makes me laugh. The odds are against it being worth 20k, but I sure as hell don't see it being an impossibilty. Oh well, you all do what you do best, slam it, put it down, make fun/
