motor #2 just parted ways with my Bro's 79 Jimmy.
the first motor he drove home in low rnage only to wake up to a rod knocking..
motor two left us last week. the belt came off the water pump, blew the pump and after swapping a new pump on... head is cracked or blown head gasket, white smoke out the one side with the hint of oil and antifreeze in it....

    SSSSssssssssoooooooooo......
the motor from the 1950 Truck is going in it /forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif

    were talking 400+ horse.
Tranny will be replaced at the same time sinc eit is on it's way out too.
I think he has had it about a year or so.. two motors..

gees when I had it for the year it was driveable all i did was toast the tranny, tcase, front axle and engine,LMAO!!

ok... lets go from the ... top-down

Holley 670 Street avenger carb, tuned to the engine
    Edelbrock air-gap intake
Trick flow angle plug heads 2.02/160 - Kick Ass!
    - comes with spark plugs
1.6 ratio aluminum full roller-rockers - roller tips and fulcrum
    Comp Cams Magnum push rods
    hardened steel guide plates
double roller Comp Cams timing set
Comp Cams xe268 extreme energy cam - nice lope, still gives lots of vacuum for brakes and whatnot
4-bolt main block bored .030 over
Keith Black Hypereutectic(sp) pistons with chromoly plasma-cut rings
    GM "pink" rods
    SCAT forged crank shaft
7-quart moroso oil pan with high-volume pickup & windage - hangs maybe 1" lower than stock but its much wider
stock volume cast long neck water pump

Needs a flex-plate (I stole the one off it /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif) and a distributor

    dyno'd at 410hp and 425tq (its either 425 or 435 torque...)

    needless to say, it SCREAMS...

There are about 3500.00 worth of parts, not including labor of building the thing, tuning it, etc... so I would be willing to part with it for right around 3500.00 give or take a few.
