Well, after breaking it twice in one day, my friend has decided to sell his '81 Crew Cab 1-ton 4x4. (He also needs the money since he just bought a Corvette and will be driving to Mexico to stay for 3 months with his soon to be wife).

Anyway, I never considered buying it myself, until I started thinking about me owning it. Now I can't sleep thinking of all the things I'd do to it if I had it. But, he needs the money ($6500) before he leaves in 2 weeks. Like I have that.

Of course, he may take less from me if I buy it as it sits now (broken SM465 to 205 T-case sleeve). It has 9 inches of lift and 39.5" Boggers, a Dana 60 front and a built 396- this motor always surprises me as far as it's power turning 39.5" Boggers with 4.10 gears in 4-Hi.

The last thing I need is another truck, since I already have about a dozen to worry about, but I'd just love to get it to keep it around. Assuming I can come up with the cash: /forums/images/icons/confused.gif Does anyone think I should buy it?
