another question about clutches...mix\'n match parts

Aight, I'm using a 91 flywheel from a 350 with a 79 mechanical clutch 465. What size flywheel do I need? Also, the parts guy asked me what the length of the input shaft splined area was. I don't have the tranny with me to measure it. Is there a way to get this info without having it? I got a quote on a Powertorque clutch from Advance Auto for $116 or 106. There was some sort of difference between them. Help me out please.

Why did he want to know the length of the splined section? I don't think its different on any SM465s.

This was from the guy at NAPA. He said there was a 1 & 1/8" shaft and a 1 & 1/2" one. I didn't think there was two different ones. All I thought was possibly different was the spline count and the clutch size itself. I don't know...
