    Yeah, it does kinda have a post-apocalyptic middle earth vibe goin on there.

    Still, that's not too far from me and that's some beautiful country down there.

    i saw a show on homes they made down under, by boreing into solid rock, big and really cool, and cool/warm i would love to do that here

    that house is cheap, has anyone checked the realestate on long island lately? a regular house 1/2 that size is goin for more than that, with like 1/2 an acre, and no free plow truck /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

    I've often thought of buildin a subterrainian house. Seems to me that any extra cost of buildin one would be offset by saved utilities here in the ever so pleasant summer land.
