    Ok This is my dilema..
I'm getting ready to put 3/4 ton axles with 4:11's on my 85 Jimmy..
and I NEED tires ... with so many decisions which do I chose
I'm currently rolling on Baja Belted Mickey T's which I freakin HATE with a passion.. the Bias ply sucks and I'm all over the road...

So I want radials or close enough to radials.

I'm stuck between getting new RIMs and TIRES because of the axle swap.. so WHAT TO DO???
with a 16 x 10 rim, some of my choices are

    TSL Radials 36/12.50/16
    Radial SSR 37/12.50/16

    0r go with a 16.5 x 9.75 or 12 rim

    TSL Radial 38/ 15.5/16.5

This is a daily driver and I tow a boat too... so if you can give me any suggestions on any tire combo I'd really appreciate it...

I would assume a LOT of this would have to do with you wallet...

If I had the extra $$$ I'd go w/ Steve's write up and do the SSR's...

I think it depends on if you plan on airing down or not. 16.5's don't have a safety bead to keep the tire seated on the rim. If you plan on airing down for the trails, then go with the 16's, if not, then I would go with the 16.5's. Just my .02.
