I finally got the fill plug out of my 203 (it only took a year of blasting it with pb blaster) and found a quart of ATF and that was it no oil [IMG] so my question is since it is a part time would it have damaged anything? it has been banging a bit but the output shafts seem ok. I know that it should have 10-30 in it (which will be going in momentarly)
what would be the best way to clean out the ATF. any ideas TIA

Not sure on damage but after the rear seal on the trans is replaced I would just drain the t case and fill it with oil and run it for a week and change it again.

Yeah run it for a while and change it. I would say you could even go a month or more without worry. ATF in a 203 is not all that bad. It lubricates well enough that I wouldn't be real concerned about it having been in there. The low is more of a concern than anything else.
Both my trucks had gear oil in them when I got them. Got lucky and neither broke the pump.
