I thought that when 2wd I should have the anti-lock brakes working for me?? When I'm on a slippery surface, they lock up and doesn't want to stop?? Any suggestions on what to do??

Make sure everything is adjusted correctly. I had the same problem on my wifes Pontiac. I bought new brakes and a hardware kit, put it all on and adjusted them and it's been fine ever since.
