    1st choice: Tuff-country EZ-Ride
    2nd choice: BDS
Both 1 and 2 have good on-road characteristics and good flex
3rd choice: (what I have) Rough Country - good and inexpensive, but it rides "like a rock." Stiff is good for mud-running though.

Go with a lift system which will include new, lifted rear springs. Also, get the shocks and raised steering arm at the same time.

Don't forget you will need a raised steering arm, longer shocks, and recommend longer brake lines.

I have the Rough Country and it works fine for me. Nice because for just over $450 it comes with shocks, steering arm, brake line relocation brackets (would still replace the lines), and shocks. And their normal shipping is 2-day. It is about as complete a kit as you can get.

A few members can put together a complete kit with everything you'll need. I got my 6" lift that way and it was cheaper then going through a store.

I have the Rough Country (no blocks) 4" lift. My husband has Superlift I think but it is 8". I'd take my truck any day over his. Mine is soft and bouncy compared to his bone-jarring ride.

I see... I've never had anything else to compare it to. 4" is plenty of lift for me, and even then I have a hard time getting in on my "off" days. I do believe the Rough Country 4" is actually a little more than 4 though.

Re: any body have suggestions for a 4\" suspension lift

i think im gunna put a 4" rough country lift on my truck, cept im doing front springs rear blocks, the one for 295$ on their web site, looks like a nice lift, i know my front springs are shot pretty bad, my rear springs are still good, so thats what im going for, and the fact that i pretty much just use it for muding and driving around, and hill climbing. Also soak all your bolts you have to take off like a week before with PB blaster, and every day of that week soak em every day. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

teah i deffinetly need a ez ride lift i live in new orleans. this entire city was swamp at one point in time so every thing sinks around here plus we also have some of the most corrupt politicians in the world that line their pockets with the money that is supposed to fix the roads. just driving around town is like an off-road adventure
