Pack it with old, cut up t-shirts or other rags. The key is to stuff the bag as tightly as you can as you work your way up. Smaller pieces of cloth work better than big pieces.

    Hope that helps, brother.

Mine was packed with little pebbles. Similar to the ones inside a hacky sack. [IMG]

I have a wave tech bag... it has a 4" piece of foam around the outside and a big water tube in the middle.

    I use these gloves also

Gloves? You don't need no stinkin' gloves! Just get some hand wrap to protect your knuckles and wrists. After a few sessions wif da bag, you'll be able to light a match across the back of your fingers...ask me how I know... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

My right hand / wrist wouldn't take punching a bag over and over without that bar thats in the glove. It helps transfer the impact and adds weight your workout. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
