Any Coin Collectors? Weird quarter found!

    Another contractor I work with found a quarter(one of the new state ones) in his change that was pretty odd. The image "fades out" on both sides about 2/3 the way down the quarter. It kinda looks as if it was sanded off but Id dosent look thinner at the bottom. Was it a "mis-struck" coin? Soes anyone know about this specific coin?

    probably misstanped, but i couldnt tell you about value or anything. I got a misstamped state quarter that looks like the face of the coin was pushed off the coin itself. Its around here somewhere.
