http://www.ifilm.com/media/getmetafile.asx?pinfo=ipt:viral|fid:2653684|mt:asf|bw:200|refsite:|rcid:|prn:|it:6|pop:|lid:|sid:1|cid:1|cch:61|ctxpg:pl|gl1:false|ap:-1|up:0|ipf:quickplayer|cr:1|pt:7|pg:700004|c:true|uip:24.174.111.75|uh:24.174.111.75|stage:getmpproductinfoad|adskid:|admt:asf|adid:2460485|adbt:|adsn:IFILM.com

When I open it up in windows media player, the 'save as' option is greyed out. Is there some way to save the actual video file locally on my computer?

BTW, it is conservative speaker Ann Coulter (hot hot hot) getting a pie thrown at her by some liberal freaks.

Just right click on your link above and "Save target as" and save it where you want to.

I don't believe you actually can save that video. .asx files are usually streams, not actual files, so you'd have to find a way to record it to your computer, or get the host to hook you up with a copy.

It can be done, my brother does it for me all the time. He goes to some page with nothing but words and gets them from there. It's all a mystery to me, he is a computer wiz.

OK, I got it.

I used a program called Streamcast VCR.
I had to dig for the source URL. It took me awhile, but I found it.

rtsp://ifilm.rmod.llnwd.net/a65/o1/portal/2653684_MULTI.rm

Please note you can't click on the url to open it, but with Streamcast VCR I opened the URL and saved the streamed file.
