Any Dana 70 rear axle guys out there???

    yes, the size of the bolt, a 14 bolt u-bolt is 5/8" (.625"), is the dana 70 the same?

    Yeah 5/8" is the normal size. I have a D70HD also, I may go to a 3/4" u-bolt though.

    **I believe** all non-HD D70's use the same size axle tube as a 14 bolt. To the best of my knowledge on the D70HD and D80 use 4" tubes.

    The HD versions are known to have Powr Loks.

    Detroit Lockers are pretty popular for aftermarket lockers.

    I've never seen nor heard of anyone running a Trac Lock and better yet an ARB locker, too.

    Then theres the el cheapo way of doing a DYI locker: the Lincoln locker. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
