I'm gonna spray texture on my walls throughout the house starting with the garage and just wondering if anyone has any expertise, tips, advice etc. for me. I will be my first time using a gun and compressor. I already bought the "spraying mantis" texture gun and hopper and am looking for a compressor right now.

ANy input on the compressor is welcome too, it'll be an all purpose compressor for tools, paint, inflation and of course the texture gun.

go buy ya a piece of drywall, use it to get the mixture right, rather than practicing on the inside walls.
