I have several friends who store them in their garages under alot of other stuff. Not a bad machine, just laziness. I think you are always more motivated if you force yourself to go to a gym. My .02

I am more motivated if I am alone, and do it at my house... I have never gone to the gym, and don't plan to... I dont like people watching me...
The price is a little expensive though, or is that normal for that kind of stuff.
I'd just like the fact that it has so many different excersies to do...

I have the BowFlex Ultimate. I got every option except the rubber mat that goes underneath it. It has 410 LBs of resistance and works great.

This is a very well built machine, not cheesy at all. It is made of steel, not sheet metal.

The stations are very easy to change over and it gives you a good work out. Very pleased overall.

Weights are inherently better becasue they have a given resistance, one you are holding them, that's what they weigh, a bowfles doesnt reach 300 pounds resistance until the peak of the bend

It'll still work and all, but a bowflex is slightly less efficient

    I kinda want one now

I just thing a bowflex is more practical then having a bunch of weights on the floor, and spares for making them lighter/hevier... when with the bowflex you just change the rod...

That's what I was getting at Steve

The bowflex overcomplicates and changes the way you move wieght

I still want one though, but I also think free weights are still King
