Just wondering how many guys do we have representing those north of the 49th? I am from Vancouver B.C. and have a 72 Blazer. So is my buddy 79Jimmy. Just wondering how many of us live up north and have to pay crazy money for parts?

Truth be told, I am from Richmond too. 79Jimmy is one of my best friends and lives about a mile and a half away from me. Rene, I talked to you a long wile ago on BC4x4 about starting a Chevy Truck club and you were my only reply. Do you know of any others that might be interested?

I think there are too many people in our area that think Jeeps are the only 4x4 worth wheelin or starting a club for.[IMG]
I've got my ColoradoK5 sticker on now, so I'm trying to spread the word. Actually now that I think of it a guy at my work is restoring an 82 Blazer, he might be interested.
How about you? Aside from 79Jimmy, anyone else you've met or talked to?
We should put together a run with some of the boys from WA state.

One vote for Windsor ontario.I'll bet your saying "how the heck did a 1971 Blazer last in Ontario with all the salt they use?"My answer is "I bought the truck in Pheonix,Arizona"Don't worry,I don't dare take it out with salt on the road! It's a rust free truck. As I said,it spent it's life in Arizona.Original paint, minus some touch-ups.You can still read the serial numbers on the frame.I feel for you guys.I'm lucky,I'm working here in the "states".Califonia actually.Lots of good used and cheap repro. parts here.I'm taking full advantage of my time in the good ol USA.

Wait! One more, I'm in Winnipeg. Hope we get more snow this year. Last year was disappointing and not even one blizzard. :-(

    Hey tRustyK5,

I know a couple of guys that might be interested but they have 2wheel drive pick ups. They may be interested if it is open to all Chevy Trucks. I also see a ton of the Chevys all over. I was thinking of printing up cards and seeing if I could drop them on windshields. See if I get any interest that way. What do you think?

That sounds like a fine idea, I'm no snob when it comes to 2 wheel or 4 wheel. I've had both and like both.[IMG]
I like your business card idea. I just downloaded a business card making program, but I suck at that sort of thing, playing with smiley's on this site is the extent of my computer skills [IMG][IMG]
If you want, look in my profile, my ph.# is in there, give me a call this weekend. Maybe we can try and put some ideas into motion. Or e-mail me, whatever.[IMG]

Well I hope my handle says it all. I'm living in Forrest Manitoba, which is about 25 kilometers North of Brandon. We are in the middle of a freaky Manitoba storm, COOL!!!.
