via the internet?? My ex is duckin me and I'd really like to get an address on her but to no avail so far. I just spend 50 bucks on one of those background things on the internet. What a waste that was...

Careful you don't get into stalking territory

If it's really recent it may be hard to find her, I think most of those check deals need long established info to work

I think he meant stalking not stalling.

Ahh, that could be. I don't think I have anything to worry about there. She owes me considerable amounts of money. Then they call it attempting to colllect a debt!!

Absolutely. Court orders and the whole nine. I've hired collection agencies. I've since fired said collection agencies. All they did was send letters to a PO box. Every month I get a letter from the courts stating that trial date has been postponed another month. My lawyer can't seem to do anything. I gave him all the addresses I had for her but nothing is working. I can't believe its this difficult. If I had time I'd drive out there myself and find her. I know if I hired a Private eye it'd be taken care of in an hour. For some outrageous amount of money.

You need to do a little creative skip tracing. Back in the day I used to do this for Sears credit. I used the city directory to find the neighbors and call them for info. It would be great if I found some old family who were nosy, they would spill the beans every time. If it were a small town I would call the coop or the caseys/c-store and start out by telling them I heard they may know this person. I would call the local utilities and see whose name they were in, you can also take the last address they lived at and do a property search with the assessor then call the landlord or the new owners and ask them if they know anything. People are nosey and like to gossip.

ya skip tracing workd wonders. i used to repo cars and that was always the final last resort that worked. do you know anyone who drives a wrecker or works at a yard? have them skip trace her and it will tell you her most recent activity via soc sec number or anything put in her name.
